In New York there are many opportunities for pro bono legal assistance, and initiatives throughout the state to engage lawyers in public service. New York is also graced with a large, well-trained corps of attorneys. These programs will only flourish if the legal community finds new ways to impart the vision that all of us can, with limited resources and time, make a difference if we work together.
